Makueni Pamoja Association started in 2009 as a group of people who were geared towards development. It was led by its first chairperson Francis Mutisya till 2019.
The group bought plots where the Makueni Funeral Home stands. The Funeral home started its operations in 2015.

The major objective was to provide quality funeral services to people of Makueni, Kenya at large and beyond.

Cosmas Maweu took over as a second chairperson on 2019. The Vice chairperson is Charles Mutunga who doubles are the managing director of the funeral home.
